It has a thriving community, shops, restaurants, hotels, night clubs, Universities, schools and colleges, harbor and historical sites. The Shire is a wealth of small towns and villages all with their own mysteries to explore.
Tessa went to University in Aberdeen city and lived in the Shire for several years before moving home to Forres.

Forres & Moray

Forres is a small town located on the A96 between Inverness and Aberdeen. It is where Tessa grew up, being born in the nearby city of Inverness. It is home to several hotels, B&B's, restaurants, shops and beautiful parks. All within 15 minutes of beautiful beaches at Findhorn and Roseisle.

Folklore and History

Folklore and history are important parts of Scottish culture. History tells us where we have come from and how we evolved to where we are today and folklore keeps our imaginations flowing. The North East of Scotland has had many influences over the years - Vikings, Romans and Pict's. Each with their own religions and folklore.
Witches have a prominent place in Scottish History with many women being persecuted for witchcraft such as Isobel Gowdie. Shakespeare event wrote about Scottish witches in Macbeth, who met on a hill outside Forres.
